Hey there! My name is Ashley Chancellor, a published author, a Registered Nurse and a Self Empowerment & Writing Coach. I have been absorbed in the healthcare industry for nearly 20 years, working as a travel ICU nurse for the bulk of my career.
My passion for nursing (as detailed in Just a Nurse: Memoir on the Heartbeat of Healing) has seemed to be a lifelong devotion to caring for others. I, like so many others, worked the front-lines through the pandemic where unfortunately my burnout reached it’s breaking point. Left shattered and empty, with a debilitating spinal fracture and no hope for living, let alone nursing I found myself on the losing end of a career I had dedicated my life to.
Mission
My mission is to help individuals uncover their own medicine, trust their inner wisdom, and build self-care practices that are nourishing, personal, and sustainable. When we are well-resourced within, we are able to give to others freely, wholeheartedly, and without losing ourselves.
